Yarn Heaven is a full-service yarn shop with wonderful yarns, needles, books, buttons and wonderful notions. We strive to carry the usual and the unusual in a relaxed, homey atmosphere.
Our store motto has always been "Pay it Forward and Pay it Back". Community service has always been a guiding influence to us. For 16 years, Yarn Heaven has been blessed with wonderful knitters, crocheters and fiber crafters who offer help to all the organizations near and dear to all our hearts. Past drives have included:
* Hurricane Ike refugees
* Hurricane Katrina refugees
* Haiti earthquake rebuilding
* Girl's Inc.
* John Peter Smith neo-natal ward (ongoing project)
and of course, our now famous
* The Helmet Liner drive for our soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan.(ongoing)
